What is the C.I.P.?
C.I.P. is the Citrix Internship Program.

How does Citrix identify interns to participate in the C.I.P.?
Citrix reviews résumés from colleges and universities throughout the U.S., in addition to qualifying potential interns at university job fairs and through our corporate involvement in the INROADS program. The most qualified candidates are invited to go through our interview process and successful candidates are considered for partiC.I.P.ation in the C.I.P.

What are the benefits of the C.I.P.?
Participants benefit by gaining practical work experience in a software technology company.

What do participants experience in the C.I.P.?
C.I.P. participants learn about the business of Citrix, receive structured on-the-job training, participate in and contribute to strategic business projects, and receive valuable career development support facilitated by Human Resources throughout the program.  Each intern formally presents his/her project experience to senior Citrix management at the graduation ceremony, thus also gaining experience with true business presentations. Interns are assigned a mentor for guidance and are evaluated on their performance by their manager. They also participate in team-building and community involvement activities, and receive ‘souvenir’ items such as C.I.P. shirts and backpacks.

Where are the internship positions located?
At the Citrix Corporate Headquarters campus in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Santa Clara, California.

Does Citrix typically hire interns permanently at some point?
We have had great success with hiring interns in the past.  In fact, we have several permanent employees that ‘hit the ground’ running after successful internships.

What is the typical pay for interns?
Interns earn an hourly wage based on qualifications. The wage is comparable to an entry-level position within the department they are working in.

Does Citrix provide housing and other benefits to C.I.P. participants?  
No, Citrix does not currently offer housing benefits to students.  Students are typically residents of the local area or may have made arrangements to live locally for partiC.I.P.ation in the program.
